Seek Tiger Stripe Copper Hinges For Facade
By Bob Yorburg

I have just finished carving the first of several Wurlitzer 165 facades
that I am constructing. Those of you who are interested can email me
and I will send you photos or you can see the lecture at the upcoming
MBSI annual meeting.

The Wurlitzer 165 facade attaches to the case via hinges that are
copper plated with tiger stripes. There are a number of different
terms describing the finish; nonetheless I am having difficulty
locating a supplier for these hinges. Obviously, with three facades
to build, I need quite a number of these hinges. The occasional eBay
or other source of old hinges is hit-or-miss. A source for new hinges
or the appropriate copper plating place would be appreciated.
