After the death of piano, organ, and orchestrion repairman and
manufacturer, George Messig, who serviced instruments in the Coney
Island, New York area, Fred Fried acquired the ephemera from George's
estate.
After Fred passed, George Messig's day books [journals] went to a
university. Does anyone remember what university that was? I would
like to research the day books for George's notes on the purchase and
removal, some time in 1933, of my and partner Joe Hanulec's Wurlitzer
Mandolin PianOrchestra Model 33a.
Thank you for your help.
