Hello Stephen, Regarding your request of 27 Apr 2009, "Seek Video
of J. P. Seeburg Factory" -- I don't have a copy of the video you
seek but I do have a copy of a very interesting similar video showing
manufacturing of Wurlitzer pipe organs in the 1920s. This black and
white silent movie appears to be promotional film, probably used to
promote the sale of Wurlitzer pipe organs. Some mechanisms related
to roll-played organs are shown.
I intend to show this Wurlitzer manufacturing video as a part of my
presentation during the 'sessions' at the 2009 AMICA convention in
Cincinnati. Since Wurlitzer was originally founded in Cincinnati,
(as well as Baldwin and _many_ other musical companies), there is
a very rich history of Wurlitzer and others in Cincinnati. Most of
the Wurlitzer (and Baldwin) founders are buried at the Spring Grove
cemetery in Cincinnati. If all goes as I hope, I may have some great
grandsons of Rudolph Wurlitzer attend my session on Wurlitzer at the
convention.
I invite all MMD'ers to attend the AMICA convention. Check out the
AMICA - Cincinnati convention web site at:
