Player Piano Silicone Rubber Tubing Available
By John Farmer

As one of the few (perhaps the only) supplier of player piano materials
in the UK, I supply silicone rubber tubing which is made to order for
me based on specifications devised some 10 or 15 years ago by the late
Steve Cox. I would be happy to work with any US retailer interested
in supplying this tubing to the US community. I would be prepared to
supply at cost price since increased order volumes will decrease the
cost price to me also.

This material is excellent to work with, being highly flexible and
elastic, and extremely long lasting to the extent of probably never
needing to be replaced again. When dusted (with talc) it looks
very like the original black or grey rubber. The larger tubes are
produced in brown to imitate the brown woven finish, but, of course,
it is smooth. This tubing is used by most amateur and professional
restorers in the UK.

If any supplier is genuinely interested I will be happy to send
samples for inspection, and give an indication of prices. However,
I can't be sure of shipping costs which will be weight dependent.
The range of sizes can be seen on my web site,

Regards from UK,
John Farmer
