Source of Replacement Motor Bearings
By Steve Bentley

[ Ref. Holtzer-Cabot Nickelodeon Motor Lubrication

There are alternatives to the old motor bearings. One is using "Oilite"
bushings, some player motors might have these fitted. I have had some
good experience with them. They still need periodic lubrication and
general cleaning, but at a lesser rate. The other bearing is "Iglide",
a self-lubricating and maintenance-free Polymer bushing, and low cost.

The availability of these privately, other than commercial purchase,
could be difficult. The web sites for these are

  http://www.OILITE.com/ and http://igus.com/ (Iglide)
