FS: Recut Ampico Rolls - List No. 4
By Dean Howe

Michael Swanson and I are now ready to take orders on Ampico roll list
number 4. There will be 10 rolls again, the particular rolls offered
will be on the list which will be sent by e-mail to previous buyers.

The rolls will be perforated by Bob Billings and Sierra Music Rolls
and they are truly of the most perfect quality, exactly duplicating the
perforations on the originals. They will be ready to ship in about a
month so please be patient after you send your order. Previous buyers
are very well pleased with the look and sound from the rolls. You won't
be disappointed.

On the list will be Ampico 216423, "The Yam", and other selections.
"The Yam" seems to be the first boogie-woogie Ampico roll and is really
startling in the way it sounds modern to our ears. Also on the list is
71083, "Negro Heaven", played by the composer, Otto Cesana, a very rare
late Ampico roll that is really full of jazzy notes and not recut to
our knowledge since 1960.

You _must_ pay in advance in order to reserve any of the rolls. You
may also order by e-mail the list from dohowe@stjoelive.com.geentroep
[delete ".geentroep" to reply]
