If what Tim L'Amoureux means by "roll reader" layout is tracker bar
scale, that should be given in "Treasures of Mechanical Music," by
Reblitz & Bowers. "Treasures" is not a book which many people would
have in their collection, but it is available at your local library
via inter-library loan.
The scale also might be in the even-harder-to-find book, "Mills
Violano-Virtuoso," by Reblitz & Kitner, but I'm just guessing here.
Perhaps Art Reblitz, its author, can say for sure.

Hi Matthew,
Yes, it's in "Treasures of Mechanical Music," by me and Dave Bowers,
and the book "Mills Violano-Virtuoso," by Mike Kitner and me. It's
also in Appendix IV, "Musical Scales," of my book "The Golden Age of
Automatic Musical Instruments" where the numerical list is accompanied
by a list in order of musical functions, since the functions are
scrambled as listed in numerical order from left to right on the roll.
A lot of people seem to miss the fact that many of the important scales
from "Treasures" are also in "The Golden Age."
Best regards,
Art Reblitz
