Debence Museum has a Seeburg B which has had a rough life. It plays,
but the mandolin attachment was removed, and several other features
are defeated. We have recreated the mandolin attachment but where
is its control? We know which position in the tracker bar is supposed
to control it, but how?
Specifically, we are trying to reconnect the 3-section valve mounted
to the right of the roll drive in the bottom of the piano. We suspect
it is related to the mandolin control, but how? Most of the lines
were disconnected and blocked. Disassembly of the valve shows why --
all the diaphragms were ruptured. We can fix the valve, but how to
reconnect it is the question.
Can anyone give us some help on which section of that valve does what,
and where things connect?
Thanks for your help.
