Mechanical Music Auction in Atlanta 21-22 March
By Mike 'Fox' Morrey
Hello, Having never attended an auction in person (eBay doesn't
count) and having been to that place several times while growing
up, I plan on making it to the Stone Mountain museum auction.
I sincerely hope that I win the lottery before then, so that I may
at least save one piece of that place.
If I remember correctly (my memory's rusty since I haven't been there
in 20+ years) they used to have a grand piano that played "Flight of
the Bumblebee". Personally, that one song played shows you how well
of shape a player is in. On my last visit it wasn't doing too well,
but it was still a sight to see.
Cheers,
Mike 'Fox' Morrey
