Moszkowski Pianola Piano Concerto Op. 59
By Paul Camps

Hi all, Many thanks to Adam Ramet for his posting of the Moszkowski
piano concerto on U-Tube. Yes, I am a "sad-o" -- I had to watch the
music roll playing. It took me back to when I was teenager of 14 or
15 years when I acquired my first Aeolian 88-note player.

The Moszkowski concerto came as a job lot of rolls in a cardboard box
loose, without boxes of their own. It was a set of three Themodist
rolls. I upped the tempo slightly and I'm sure it did not last as long
as 40 minutes, but then tempos are always open to interpretation.

Once again many thanks for the nostalgia,
Paul Camps
