Ron Bopp is well known to all in our hobby, be it MBSI, AMICA, or
COAA.  What most don't know is that Ron is the most prolific author
in the field over the past 25 years.  He has written over 50 articles
and published the most prolific book on the American carousel organ.
Beyond that, he and his wife, Mary Jo, have produced some of the
greatest and most researched video productions ever to be presented.
Among his legendary work is that of Mechanical Music in the Movies.

Beyond his extraordinary literary contributions, Ron has organized
dozens of meetings and organ rallies, and continues to do so to this
day.  His Bumbling Bruder Tours throughout Europe have introduced
countless members to the glorious collections, many of them private and
exclusive, and introduced countless enthusiasts to opportunities that
otherwise would have been possible.

It is with great honor that I nominate Ron Bopp, and also Mary Jo, to
the MMD Automatic Music Hall of Fame.  They are extraordinary people,
caring and generous, and have devoted much of their time and talent to
make our hobby a greater joy than would have otherwise not have been
possible.  Ron's writings will remain for generations to follow, and
his works will allow for an extraordinary understanding of the hobby
that has brought to us a joy otherwise not possible were it not for
his knowledge and enthusiasm.
