Ivory Keytops Violate eBay Wildlife Policy
By Eliyahu Shahar
It seems that Australia is more strict than the US. I read
a notification on eBay that, as long as they were made prior to 1900,
the USA will continue to allow selling pianos with ivory keytops
(no limits) and furniture with inlaid ivory (I assume that allows
for music boxes with ivory decoration). Also, the USA restrictions
were effective as of 1 January 2009.
