Cost of Transcribing Music Roll to MIDI File
By Spencer Chase

If I have any interest in the music on a roll or think that it is
worthy historically, I do not charge to scan it and produce a MIDI
file. I pay for return shipping and trade other MIDI files to those
who provide a sufficient number of rolls for scanning that I might
like to add to my collection. I have no idea what others may charge
for the service but I know of others who also charge nothing.

If a roll is of little interest to others, or is of an unusual format
and requires more than minimal effort to configure the scanner, I would
charge for my time.

Best regards,
Spencer Chase
