Answering the call for YouTube clips... A few weeks ago I was invited
to give a Pianola recital for the Billy Mayerl Society in London. The
recital was filmed and a clip has just been placed on YouTube. The
instrument is a 65/88-note Aeolian Pianola pushup teamed with a modern
Seiler 208 cm grand piano. The video clip is of a rather nice Phil
Ohman roll, "There's Everything Nice About You". Mike Lorenzini's
studio setup makes for a nice environment and good-looking video,
I think.

The recital was in part to launch a new Pianola CD, "Just A Little
Thing Called Rhythm," with 24 tracks of favourite '20s and '30s hot
music. It's available from Shellwood, price GBP 11.50, including
postage anywhere worldwide. Just what you want to spend yourselves
out of those "It's Not Really a Recession Blues". Now, there's
a title for a roll...!
