I may have missed the posting but do not remember seeing anything about
the passing of Dave Miner of Miner Manufacturing Co. Apparently he also
had an auction of some of his belongings. Anyone care to add to this?

Dave Miner, president of the Miner Manufacturing Company near
Donnellson, Iowa, and president and founder of the Fort Madison,
Farmington & Western tourist rail line, passed away this past Saturday
[Sept. 13, 2008] at his home near Donnellson after a year-long battle
with cancer. He leaves behind his loving wife, Carol, three children
and a legion of friends. ... Memorial services for Dave were held today
in Keokuk, Iowa. At the age of 47, Dave was taken from us far too
early.
