Svoboda's lives on! Around 1968 the late Dave Junchen made extensive
recordings of the instruments at Svoboda's, using the finest
professional equipment. Thirty-four of these tracks have made their
way onto a compact disc now available from the D. C. Ramey Piano Co.
Prominently featured is the Coinola SO playing snappy tunes from one
of the best Capitol "O" rolls ever issued, plus selections from ten
other machines including the Peerless Wisteria, Seeburg G, a rare
Cremona cabinet style orchestrion with pipes and of course the 92-key
Decap organ.
