I am guessing that there will be several responses giving information.
My input might add a small bit of information as my experience with wet
rolls is scant.
First, if the box is wet, don't assume the roll is wet. I have seen
many boxes with water damage and yet the roll appears to have none.
If that is the case, open the boxes and remove the rolls until the
boxes dry out.
Second, I have seen rolls that have been very wet and nothing was
done about it. The rolls once dry will play. The only change is that
the paper is no longer smooth and may make some noise while playing.
I believe Bruce Clark addressed that issue by ironing the paper.
In general, it appears as if the boxes suffer more than the rolls when
wet.
