Duo-Art Plays Only in "Dance" Mode
By Darryl Wilkinson

I have a 1925 Steinway XR Duo-Art and wondered if anyone could give
me some advice on a problem it has. The pianola section and piano was
restored about 15 years ago and all the leather and rubbers are in good
condition.

The piano seems to play well only in "Dance" mode, but it hardly plays
in "Normal" or "Soft" modes. I have checked for any leakage and all
seems okay. I was wondering if you have heard of any similar problems?
Any help would be appreciated.
