Amongst some items in a warehouse in Miami, I found a player roll of
some sort. I don't know whether it is for a piano, organ, band organ,
or what.
The paper measures 12 1/16" in width, wound on 2 3/4" diameter black
plastic(?) spools. The left spool just has a 7/16" "button" in its
center with a hole in it, while the right spool has a similar 7/16"
"button" with a slot in its center for the drive spindle. It still has
its leader eyelet, although about a foot or so of the leader paper is
in bad condition. There are no markings on it other than "Tempo 70"
stamped on the leader and the word "CORNELL" pencilled on the leader.
Does anyone recognize what kind of roll this might be from the above
description?
