Rebuilding H. C. Bay Player Piano
By Dale Malone

I first want to thank everyone who has responded to my question on my
current project. After reading Mr. Cantrell's description in the
080806 MMD of the one he rebuilt, I looked again at mine. It is set up
the same way. This answers a lot of questions I had but had not asked
yet, such as why there are two sections of the action, with hinges
that, when pushed, will move the stickers away from the capstans.

I can see that this is a complicated system to regulate, and I am
missing most of the parts. But I may try to reproduce the effect. If
anyone has any parts or a diagram of what it should look like, I would
be grateful for the information.
