Original Finish of Wurlitzer Wall Box
By Larry Emmons

Greetings! Thanks to a posting on MMD recently of a Wurlitzer wall
box for sale, I'm now the owner of that item. It makes a fine addition
to my recently restored 1912 Wurlitzer B Orchestrion. The wall box is
complete as advertised but it has been painted at some point in its
life. There is a photo in Bowers' Encyclopedia on page 711 (middle
photo of the Wurlitzers).

Can anyone provide a description, photos, etc., of what the wall box
would have originally looked like? Was it plated, painted, trimmed
with contrasting colors?

Thanks, Larry Emmons
