Fair Organs Should Play More Modern Music
By Frank and Shirley Nix

We find when we have a rally people love hearing the organs and enjoy
the music. I agree that more modern music would be a benefit, but it
is very expensive to have music arranged and perforated, and the
problem is you don't know what it will sound like when you get it.

The music has to be arranged for each individual organ (many of them
non-chromatic) and it becomes cost and time prohibitive unless the
owner is able to do it himself (most of us are not that talented).

We have people dancing in front of the organs quite often, and a waltz
or polka doesn't have to be "modern" for people to enjoy.
