Hello All! I will be playing my Stratford upright player piano at the
Allentown Art Festival in Buffalo, New York, on Saturday, June 14th,
and Sunday, June 15th, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. I'll be at sidewalk
level on the corner of Allen and College, pedaling away to thousands
of art lovers.
I plan on playing straight through the festival with time frames in
mind for musical specialties. At noon on both days will be 'Patriotic
Hour', at 2 p.m. will be "Rhapsody in Blue", 3 to 4 p.m. will be
"Classical Favorites" and at 5:30 p.m. will be "Ballet mécanique".
Ragtime, popular tunes, oldies, goodies, etc., will be played in
between scheduled themes.
I have recently repainted the exterior of the piano to resemble that of
a vintage fire truck or popcorn machine. When acquired it was painted
an 'antiqued' white woodgrain effect popular in the 1970's. It was
time for a freshening up and to really make it a crowd pleaser.
I invite everyone that can make it to Buffalo to come and hear some
fantastic old time piano music and view local artwork.
Best Regards,
Jason Klinger
