Mechanical Music and Player Piano Photo Galleries
By Adam G. Ramet
Dear MMDers, I've created two new photography groups at flickr.com for
mechanical music and another specifically the player piano. Flickr is
for people who are avid photographers not just folk that snap anything.
If you are an avid photographer and have taken interesting work
covering some aspect of these two topics feel free to add your photos
to the group.
In creating the groups I have endeavored to select interesting
photographs as opposed to photographs of things mechanical music nuts
find interesting. The results so far are here:

Do take a look at the work the other photographers have done here --
I doubt many, if any, have the slightest interest in mechanical music!
Some are professional and some are amateur. Hopefully we might get
some good idea of how other people see our music hobby and as a result
also how, perhaps, we might better present our interests to newcomers.
Some of it is a little wacky or avant garde but there's nothing wrong
with that in the grand scheme of things.
Anyway, feel free to contribute quality high resolution photography,
not just hundreds of encyclopaedic photos of umpteen good instruments;
that's for photobucket and the other sites like it.
Following on from my post the other week about the recent Player Piano
Group AGM there are a few photos of that event here:
