Hi, MMDers: Attached is a nice example of a "Black Label" Clark
A-Roll from 1935, no. 1468, entitled "Tunes With A Tang."
There are several nice tunes indeed featured here. Tune #7, "Top Hat,
White Tie and Tails", needs no introduction (and to a lesser extent,
tune #10, "What a Little Moonlight Can Do"), but I direct your
attention to tune #3, "Page Miss Glory" -- the terrific theme song
from the 1935 Warner Bros. musical of the same name, starring Marion
Davies as "Miss Glory."
But that isn't the real reason this is one of my real favorites of
the Clark "Black Label" era -- it's this:

Not only is this original Clark roll free of perforating and tempo
errors, you get to hear one of the most irresistible Warner Bros.
tunes ever!
And as for the cartoon? It's an acknowledged art deco Technicolor, Bob
Clampett-directed masterpiece! That's why this hobby is so much fun.
Enjoy!
