Music Roll Drive Motors
By Spencer Chase

To answer Robbie's question about noise. A good quality motor such as
the Bodine 24A series will be very quiet. If you are concerned mainly
with noise you can run the motor at a low speed and will hear virtually
nothing. Depending on the design speed and the controller chosen,
there will most likely be more than adequate torque and speed stability
even at low speeds. A good motor mounted on rubber noise isolation
mounts running at a reasonable speed will not be heard at all if it is
behind a panel.

Best regards,
Spencer Chase

 [ The Bodine Catalog says it has no gears, so it can't be noisy;
 [ a good suggestion!  ;-)  -- Robbie
