Flexotone Autopiano Attachment
By Nathan Woodhull

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMDigest --

I have yet to install the Flexotone mechanism [080409 MMDigest]
in the Haines player but can provide some more information. The
mechanism mounts on top of the player stack, which I yet do not
have, but the label on the actual mechanism lists three patent dates.

I have heard that one can do a patent search by either number or
date so here are the three dates: Dec. 13, 1904; June 26, 1906;
Jan 28, 1908. One can readily ascertain that this was an early player
attachment that apparently was not installed to any great extent.

When I receive the player stack, I will take photos and provide
a detailed explanation on how the Flexotone operates.
