Rebuilding a Wurlitzer Band Organ Pump Set
By D. L. Bullock

I have an offer for anyone who has an original Wurlitzer 105 band organ
in need of restoration. Our Wurlitzer105b Yahoo group wants to learn
more about rebuilding the pumps for this type of instrument. I plan to
make a video of me restoring this kind of bellows system in order to
help group members in getting theirs rebuilt or possibly building new
pumps.

If anyone wishes to send me an original Wurlitzer 105 pump or one that
is very similar to that pump, I will rebuild it on video and send it
back to you. If you wish to come to Alton, Illinois, and watch the
work being done, you are welcome to do that. However, it may take sev-
eral days to do the work.

If you have such a pump and are interested, let me know by email (do
not just send it), and we will select the one we will rebuild from
those offered. The one most likely to be selected will be a Wurlitzer
105 pump in factory condition that has never been restored. We will
also be measuring it, so that our group will have dimensioned drawings
available for making their own copies of this unit.
