This may have come up for discussion before, but how did Seeburg number
their pianos? I have seen many over the last twenty years, and they
range anywhere from 52000 through the one I saw this morning at a show.
That was a KT Special, and it was very clean and complete. The serial
number was 161597, which would make it mid-1927. Would this be correct?

[the 970207 MMD and Art Reblitz tells more about Seeburg's system
[of serial numbering in the 980311 MMD.
