FS: Brass Trumpet Resonators & Clarinet Cones
By Bill Klinger
I have been working with a brass instrument maker to make bent brass
resonators. The measurements were taken from a Wurlitzer 148 organ.
The 148 has 15 trumpets, two notes lower than the 13 notes of a 125.
Photos of the two sets are at

In addition to the trumpet resonators, I had tooling made to make
brass clarinet pipes in 5 sizes. I only offer the cone and plate.
The cones are drawn from brass sheet and are seamless. The inside
lip of the cone is spun on a mandrel to the O.D. of standard thin wall
brass tube. The picture only shows the 4 larger sizes. They are
available in 1", 1-1/8", 1-1/4", 1-3/8" and 1-1/2".

If there is some interest, I hope to have the tooling made up for
larger trombone pipes. On the 148 I measured the bells are all the
same, only the length of the resonator is different. Other items
I am looking into are shallot sets and freins for string pipes.
