Seek On-Off Switch for Modern Aeolian Player Piano
By Jack Thalman

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMDigest --

At our local clubhouse is an Aeolian "Sting" console player piano,
circa 1987, and its push/pull on/off white plastic Cherry switch has
jammed. The electric motor will not turn on or off.

The switch is located with a protruding shaft that mounts on the left
outside of the spoolbox in the bottom half of the spoolbox. We are
looking for a replacement for the switch or a repair, and wonder if
one might be available from an AMICA member, or from a manufacturer
such as cherrycorp.com model E. We are trying to match it and wonder
if anyone has suggestions.
