Unknown Dutch Street Organ on Music Cassette
By Phil Evans

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMDigest --

Hi, I am hoping somebody can help me. I am trying to find a particular
recording of a Dutch street organ I owned many, many years ago. I realise
this is quite a long shot but you never know, somebody might recognise
what I'm talking about...

The reason for looking for it is mostly nostalgic. It was actually
a video posted on YouTube http://youtube.com/watch?v=GPWEfu5vkPc that
made me want to find it -- the arrangement played in that video is the
exact arrangement I remember from the cassette I owned. I have no idea
how many copies were made of the cassette; it may have only been a few,
but I do remember some of the songs included. They were (in the order
I remember):

Side 1:
1 - Tulips From Amsterdam; Cuckoo Waltz (or possibly the other way
'round); ... I Want To Teach The World To Sing; last track: Oklahoma
(as played in the YouTube video - possibly last track on side 2).

Side 2:
last track: Land Of Hope And Glory (as mentioned above,
may be last track on side 1, I know these two arrangements were both
the last track on one side or another).

I also remember the picture on the front of the inlay. The organ
was in front of what looked to me like an office building with
a revolving door; I strangely remember that detail quite vividly. :-)

Like I said, I know it is a long shot but I want to try and track
down this recording so badly. I was hoping maybe enough copies were
distributed that someone who owns it and recognises the tracks on it
may have it and be a member of these forums.

Here's to hoping
