Musical Box Mechanism for Studying
By Matthew Caulfield

I'm glad to see that Valery Ivantsov has now connected with the MMD,
through the good offices of editor Robbie Rhodes. It must be lonesome
in places like Kiev or Mongolia, if you have an interest in mechanical
music.

If Valery's plea for a cast-off cylinder movement doesn't meet with
success, he should contact Shuichi Tezuka, Overseas Sales Manager for
Sankyo Shoji Co., Ltd. (myorgel@nidec-sankyoshoji.co.jp). Mr. Tezuka
can put Valery in touch with the nearest Sankyo outlet. Sankyo's
smaller novelty movements should be fairly inexpensive to purchase.

For the record, the mailing address for Sankyo Shoji is: 2-3-2
Bakurocho, Nihonbashi, Chuo-Ku Tokyo 103-0002 Japan.
