Prices Paid for Violano & "A" Roll
By Brad Hunter

Hello MMD readers. I just watched an original Clark "A" Roll #347,
"Group of Sure Shots," sell on eBay for $371.97 Wow! It's a fairly
early "A" roll but why such a high auction price? Is this the only
copy known to exist? Has it ever been re-cut? I dropped-out early
in the auction.

An un-restored and non-playing Mills Violano just sold in a
Pennsylvania auction for $22,000 with an added 22% "Buyer's Premium"
plus 6% state sales tax! I also bid on this via "eBay Live Auctions".
Both items can still be viewed on eBay.
