Converting Recordo to Duo-Art
By John Phillips

Brice Willis asks, "Is it possible to make a conversion from Recordo to
Duo-Art by changing the tracker bar and modifying some of the tubing?"

The quick answer, Brice, is "No!" The Duo-Art system is a lot more
complex than is the Recordo, and to make the change would require a
very large rebuild of the player works. And I'm wondering why one
would bother? If it is in proper working order, a Recordo player can
sound very good indeed, despite its relatively simple expression sys-
tem. Just listen to a Pete Wendling QRS Recordo roll.

I suggest that you look around for a quite separate Duo-Art player.
