Come one, come all! Historic Sutter Creek, in California's Gold
Country, will host a Musical Organ Rally Saturday and Sunday, Oct.
13 and 14, 2007, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on the town's Main Street.
Admission is free.
The musical organs, varying in size from a monkey grinder's musical
organ to several majestic instruments, will "play" music from dance
tunes and marches to carousel and classical music.
The rally is made possible by Frank & Shirley Nix and John Motto-Ros
of Automatic Musical Instrument Collectors Association, which is
devoted to preserving and promoting automatic musical instruments
including street organs.
