White Front Rail Punchings of Dense Felt
By John Klungle

Several years ago I purchased the leftover supplies from a piano tuner
who was retiring from the trade. In the supplies there were several
packages of front rail felt punchings that were white rather than the
normal green that is more common today. I do not recall if they were
more dense, but I believe the weave of the felt was different when
compared to the green felts of today. I used several of the packages
on pianos that were being restored. I know I have some of the packages
left so if someone is interested please send me an email and I will get
more information.

Thanks
John Klungle
