MechaMusica: A New Mechanical Music Society
By Johnny Claes

-- forwarded message, please reply to sender and MMD --

Until now Belgium had no mechanical music society. This is rather
strange because historically many mechanical music instruments were
built and used in Belgium. Today manufacturers as Decap and Verbeeck
are still in business here. Over the past decades Belgium supplied
these instruments all over the world.

With the support of the Government and the Dutch KDV, a group of
mechanical music enthusiasts have managed to do what was never done
before. On September 22, 2007, MECHAMUSICA (or MeMU for short) will
emerge as the first mechanical music society in Belgium.

MechaMusica wishes to cooperate with other similar societies all over
the world.
