FS: Link Photoplayer & Artizan Band Organ Parts
By James Williams
For sale: I have a lot of parts from a Link photoplayer that had
four roll frames in it. I have these roll frames and a lot of the
drive line parts and many parts that might be the same as from the
Link piano. One of the roll frames looks like new, the others are
disassembled mostly. One tracker bar is missing and maybe other parts.
The complete one could be used as a pattern to make the other ones
complete again. Link music is very good and enough rolls are around
and being recut that a player of some kind could be built up with
these parts.
I have also a lot of Artizan band organ parts from an 82-note Gavioli
conversion that Artizan did. The duplex roll frame's shifter unit and
all tubing are still on them, and the valve stack and a lot of gears
and drive line parts and one extra roll frame besides. There are two
tapered cone speed control units, drum actions and crankshafts and many
other Artizan parts. These could be used to complete or to modify an
Artizan organ or some other type of organ and other type of roll.
I have pictures of all of these parts that I can send.
I also have a Coinola style C piano that is incomplete but restorable.
The art glass and some parts are still in it. It is a good piano from
the Utah climate. It was an A-roll piano, most likely.
I also have a 30-note chime bell box made by the Thomas organ company
in the 1970s that is solenoid operated and all in a nice wood box that
would sit on a table near the organ.
Best wishes,
Jim Williams
