Dear MMD, I recently acquired a 1906 Melville Clark Apollo which is
about 90% restored. The case and all of its parts had been stripped
and were ready for finish application, however, somewhere along the
line, all the case hardware and the pedal connecting rods have been
lost.
If anyone has this model of piano in storage and has no intention of
ever restoring it I would be interested in buying these parts. This
piano has a dual wood tracker bar with top row of holes being 6 to the
inch and the bottom row being the standard 9 to the inch 88-note style.
The spool box will accommodate 16" rolls.
If any one has any of the 16", 6 hole to the inch rolls I would be
interested in buying or trading to acquire a few. I have a couple
thousand totally restored 88-note rolls and several hundred Ampico
rolls as trading material. I'm always looking for Duo-Art rolls that
fall into the repairable category.
Regards,
Tom Hutchinson
