Yes, "Trudy" is still very active. Dave Wasson, Trudy's designer,
builder, owner, arranger and presenter moved from San Diego, California,
to Erie, Pennsylvania, about three years ago, so "lost contacts" may be
due to that move.
Dave has five CDs, which he sells at Carousel Organ Association of
America (COAA) rallies. He may still sell tapes, as well, but I do not
remember if he still trucks them around, or has added recent material.
Dave's recordings are well produced, but "non-commercial." That is to
say, he makes them himself, he will sell you one at a rally or other
appearance, but he makes no other attempts to market them. His rally
price is $15 for each CD.
Dave's email address can be found on the COAA web site,
http://www.coaa.us/ on the COAA Officers Page. He is President.
At COAA's rally in Connecticut I told Dave that band organ enthusiasts
world-wide should have an opportunity to hear Trudy. He allowed me to
take some video for posting on YouTube, but I have not yet had time to
transfer it from tape and add titles. I will post a note here when
I get it up.
