Methyl Ethyl Ketone
By Bill Chapman

A reference was made to the possible use of methyl ethyl ketone [MEK].
It's unlikely that solvent is still used in a consumer product as it
has been determined to be a carcinogen. When I worked at Tektronix it
was removed from the lab I worked in, and we then used acetone which
later became suspect. Just a word of warning for those who still use
this otherwise great solvent in paint stripping.
