Nickelodeon Motors
By Earl Hennagir

Say, I have a Cremona flute piano and was just wondering what size
motor goes in those. I know it's a slow speed motor, but do all
the nickelodeons use the 1/8th horsepower motor? Or how was that
determined?

Did Seeburg and the others do it differently? What were the 1/4
horsepower slow speed motors used in?

Well, I was asked a few questions about this a day or so ago and
thought this would be a good place to ask since I really don't know
and don't have enough experience to venture much more than a guess.
Thanks now.
