Organ Thefts in Europe
By Justin Senneff

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

Hello all, it's me again (Justin) and I just wanted to tell you about
a few organ and piano thefts in Europe that might be related. The
first theft I heard about was a showman in England whose name I do
not know. However he runs the web site "De Angelena" and to which he
named after his 55-key Dutch street organ and mentioned a red colored
barrel piano (the whereabouts are unknown to me at this moment).

The second organ I heard that was stolen was a Dutch street organ
named "Winnie the Pooh" (there is a MMD archive in the picture gallery).
[See http://mmd.foxtail.com/Pictures/pooh.html]

The third organ was a Bruder barrel organ that was returned and most
recently the 89-key Marenghi fair organ "Lady Hamilton" that can both
be seen at this web site http://www.draaiorgel.org/english/news.htm

So, to all the people (showman, constructors, collectors), keep your
organs safe. That includes my home country (America), England, Canada
and all other countries with mechanical music. I apologize to anyone
that was offended and didn't want their identity revealed.
