Kimball P795 Player Piano Won't Rewind
By Gina Gillis

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

Hi All, We have a Kimball P795 Model F Player Piano. We just recently
replaced the gear in the motor and now are faced with another issue.

When we turn the Tempo (on/off button) to the 'on' position the motor
starts immediately instead of waiting to push the play button. The
player portion plays fine, but it will not reverse. Does anyone have
any suggestions on what could be causing these problems?

We did replace the diodes and transistors on the power board, except
for the transistor located on the outside of the case. Any help would
be greatly appreciated.
