Removing PVC-E Glue
By Jeff Bridges

Hi all, I picked up a Universal Player Piano Company player piano and
the pneumatics all fell apart because of the lousy glue. Now I am
trying to rebuild the stack but the problem I am having is getting the
old glue off. The only way it's been coming off is by sanding it, but
that's taking too long.

Does anyone know what might remove this residue of glue? I've tried
"Goo Begone" and it started to soften the plastic; I've tried hydrogen
peroxide. Help! The design of the stack was brilliant but the materials
were garbage! Email me at <jeff.bridges@verizon.net> Thanks!

Sincerely, Jeff Bridges
