Be a Pianola Composer
By Adam G. Ramet

In 2007.05.02 MMDigest I announced a pianola-roll composing project.
The musical themes are now at my web site (go to the texts page) and
will also shortly be on the Pianola Forum (http://pianola.forumer.com)
where you can follow the action hopefully and post your version of the
MIDI's, etc., as the project develops.

There are four easy themes to start with, from an old 19th century
collection of Magyar (i.e., Hungarian) tunes. With a little ingenuity
we should have our very own brand new Hungarian dances and rhapsodies
to equal Brahms and Liszt. That's the theory anyhow!

Sincerely,
Adam Ramet
