Limit of Liability When Customer Can't Be Found
By Steve Bentley

Not too far from where my ship docked in San Francisco in 1983 was
a garage repairing expensive sports cars. I stopped by to look at
some, and especially a 1963 Ferrari 275 GTS.

They were in the process of selling it as the owner had not been
around for three years and they offered it to me for $10,000. It was
difficult for me to raise all that money at the time. Now it's worth
around $250,000 or more.

Maybe the owner was now into player piano collecting!
