Computer Programs for Piano Tuning
By Ed Chaban

Does anyone tune their own piano with the aid of a computer? I have
used the old shareware version of TuneLab with the Calcul8 plug-in
to create a stretch. A move to a Macintosh computer has made me look
at alternatives. Needless to say the Reyburn Cybertuner (for all of
it's renown) simply costs too much for me. Even the Pro version of
TuneLab seems pricey.

I've come across what seems like a nice package:
http://www.katsurashareware.com/piano/piano.html The $99 price is
quite reasonable. If anyone has used this package, I'd appreciate
hearing their comments. If there are other alternatives out there
I'd appreciate hearing about them too.

Thanks in advance!
