Like many collectors sharing a common interest in mechanical musical
instruments, I have acquired a modest collection of original literature
over the past 40+ years. Regardless of whatever wishes my heirs might
one day be instructed to do with it, there is a probability that the
original literature I have collected may well end up in landfill. So
I got to thinking, "Why should I be the only one to view and enjoy
these documents?"
About a year ago, I discussed this concern with Jody and Robbie, and
they kindly offered me some space on the Foxtail computer, making it
possible to share these documents. Since then, I have scanned and
uploaded 61 documents of interest. In the months ahead, I plan to scan
many more, not only from within my personal collection, but also some
loaned to me by other equally concerned participants sharing a common
interest in preserving this unique slice of our musical heritage.
I have recently upgraded the site with thumbnail images of all these
documents, and hopefully made it a little more friendly. These
documents may be viewed at:

There is no reason why others cannot do likewise. Sharing original
literature is relatively easy to do. All that is required is a flatbed
scanner. Think positive about sharing various items within your
personal collection of original literature.
And if you like what you see there, say thanks to Jody and Robbie for
making it possible.
